Notă biografică
Neelesh Kumar Jain is Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Coordinator of Center of Excellence in Gear Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Indore (India). His research interests are additive manufacturing of metallic materials, advanced machining processes, high-quality gear finishing, miniature and non-circular gear manufacturing, sustainable gear machining, micro-joining of thin sheets, and modeling and optimization of manufacturing processes. He has authored 5 books and 15 book chapters and more than 125 research papers in different international journals and conference proceedings. He has guided 10 PhD and 25 MTech theses. He has served as Dean of Academic Affairs for 9 years and Acting/Officiating Director of IIT Indore for more than 2 years.
Kapil Gupta is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Technology at the University of Johannesburg. He obtained Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with specialization in Advanced Manufacturing. Advanced machining processes, sustainable manufacturing, green machining, precision engineering and gear technology are the areas of his interest. He has authored several international articles, and also authored and edited international books on hybrid machining, gear manufacturing, micro and precision manufacturing, high speed machining, and sustainable manufacturing.
