Notă biografică
Jeffrey Wanko is an associate professor at Miami University of Ohio where he teaches preservice and inservice mathematics teachers. He began solving and creating puzzles in elementary school and saw his first published puzzles in his middle school newspaper. He and his wife, Molly, live in Ohio with their three amazing and energetic children. Dr. Wanko views all of life as a puzzle and is constantly seeking solutions by making educated guesses and jotting notes in the margins of his work.
Recenzii
I would recommend this book for any educator who works with grade 4 students and above. The puzzles could be used for enrichment and small-group activities. They can challenge students at all levels, build spatial reasoning, and provide space for justification of their solutions.,Nicole Shobert, University of Oklahoma,Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School, 5/1/13
