Spider: Animal Diaries

Autor Steve Parker
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 24 feb 2014 – vârsta de la 6 până la 8 ani
Plenty of natural history books look at animal life from an outsider's viewpoint. Now it’s time for some inside knowledge! Read about the perils of growing up a spider in Spider’s very own diary.

Young readers will find out all about how Spider spins her incredible silken web, which creatures she likes to catch — and EAT — in it, and what happened the day she got trapped in The Giant’s House — aargh!

The Animal Diaries series includes personal accounts written by young animal diarists. Sometimes funny, often scary, these firsthand accounts are highly entertaining, giving readers an intriguing insight into the life of each animal.

Animal Diaries includes:

Tyrannosaurus Rex (978-1-60992-255-9) Spring 2014
Spider (978-1-60992-252-8) Spring 2014

Extras

“I like to spend time selecting the best position for my circular or orb-shaped web. Not too high, yet not too low. A gap between branches or bushes, where victims fly through, is usually successful. They hardly notice my super-fine silk strands and they soon become another delicious meal!”
