Notă biografică

Scott Kennedy, born in Toronto and raised on R.R. #1, York Mills, has a first-hand understanding of the area's history. In addition to this book, he has written Willowdale: Yesterday's Farms, Today's Legacy (2013); Don Mills: From Forests and Farms to Forces of Change (2017); and 200 Years at St. John's York Mills: The Oldest Church in Toronto (2016). He is involved with several historical societies, is a recipient of the Canada 150 Heritage Pin, and has been giving talks and presentations on North York history since 2013. Today, Scott lives in a Heritage Conservation District he helped create in Toronto's Beach neighbourhood.
