The universe hates me, I swear. I have a date tonight. I'm finally going to meet AJ, the guy I've been talking to over the Internet for the past few months, and I just know my jerk of a stepbrother, Andrew, is lurking around the corner somewhere, waiting to dump another load of filing on me and keep me late at work. Andrew gets his kicks by picking on me. He knows because of the agreement I have with his father I won't stand up for myself. But if Andrew messes this up for me, I swear this time I'm going to get him back. Because while AJ is the man of my dreams and everything I've ever wanted, I don't think he'll hang around the restaurant if he believes I've stood him up. FML. I think I hear Andrew coming.... Why do you do this to me, universe, why? AJ isn't answering his phone, I can't get ahold of him. My life can't possibly get any worse than this....
