When Steve Holt was six years old, he and his five siblings were separated and placed into various foster homes. His parents, who were financially and mentally disabled, were unable to care for their children. Steve and his older sister Joann grew up in the Open Door Children's Home orphanage on Leon Street in Rome, Georgia. Seven years later, after living at "the home," Steve and Joann met their own precious Foster Parents and their lives were remarkably changed from that moment. Today they want Steve to refer to them as Mom and Dad. That is something to smile about Steve soon discovered his passions for art, ventriloquism, puppetry and magic. Despite being bullied by his peers for "playing with dolls," Steve persevered and never gave up. He knew deep inside the love for these talents and a strong faith in God would become his ticket to success in life.
