This is a compilation of stories and poems from Levels Four and Five of the five-book Reading Logically series. If you already have the Reading Logically series, there is no need to also have this book, since all the stories and poems in this book are contained in the series. This book is written on a fourth or fifth grade level, and is simply for enjoyment. Since the stories are taken from Reading Logically, which is a phonics-based reading program, many of the stories and poems have concentrated practice of a particular concept. Several of the more difficult words are broken into syllables at the end of the story as an aid and encouragement for the student. Charming illustrations add interest and enjoyment.
