Recenzii
Oda Wischmeyer, Erlangen, Orientalistische Literaturzeitung 2016 Band 111 Heft 6
"If one hallmark of this book is the author’s magisterial command of a vast array of primary texts, the other striking feature is his keen eye for weird and wonderful details. [...] It is a fair assessment, and a credit to the author, to say that one rarely reads a van der Horst essay from which one does not learn something new. [...] copyediting and production are of a very high standard. [...] thanks to van der Horst for his many significant contributions to the field." – Matthew V. Novenson, University of Edinburgh, in: Bryn Mawr Classical Review 2015.02.20
