Notă biografică
In the past 50 years, E. E. DeWitt, D. D. has pastored four churches in Louisiana and Illinois. He was born in north central Illinois. He recently retired. Allen Park Baptist Church in Galesburg, Illinois was his last church before retirement. He was a combat infantryman during the Vietnamese Conflict and won his Combat Infantry Badge less than three weeks after entering the war zone
Dr. DeWitt has written books on Inspiration (Study in Inspiration), a defense of the Textus Receptus (God Keeps His Word), and the Virgin Birth of Jesus (Study in the Virgin Birth). He has also written verse by verse commentaries on Daniel and Nahum. Dr. DeWitt taught the fundamentals of the Christian Religion over WGPA-TV 7 in Galesburg, Illinois from 1985 - 1995,. He also published a newsletter, "BQM Reports" This started out to be simply a newsletter of his activities. It soon morphed into a bi-monthly journal of theological thought and teaching. Although the magazine had only a press run of about 1000 every two months, copies were sent to every state in the U.S. and all the provinces of Canada. Copies were sent to every continent except Antarctica.
Dr. DeWitt has been a member of MENSA and Intertel, which require evidence of a high IQ. He is a graduate both from private and public colleges and universities.
Dr. DeWitt was married to the former Linda Guenther for over thirty years until her Home Going to Glory in May of 2000. They are the parents of two children, Amy and Ethan, and have two grandchildren, Shandi and Elijah.
