Stephen S. Strichart is a professor of special education and learning disabilities at Florida International University Miami.
 
Charles T. Mangrum II is a professor of special education and reading at the University of Miami Coral Gables where he trains instructors who teach students with reading and learning disabilities. Both have authored numerous books and articles on topics related to special education and study skills.
