This book is designed to give ideas that could help students improve their reading comprehension by using their daily interactions with their support system (family, friends, co-workers, etc.). Based on the course, "Learning and Teaching Memory and Study Skills" (https: //www.udemy.com/learning-and-teaching-memory-and-study-skills/ ). Excerpts from the book, Finding Perpetual Harmony, by Lorette Weldon, are used. Through this workbook and course, an avatar teaching assistant helps teachers make students become information literate. The avatar teaching assistant shows students how to: talk to each other and their teacher for further discussions; tinker with variations on that subject with automatic graded feedback during home study; travel to where other sources could be found to expand their knowledge on the subject area. This method fosters the teamwork ethic while also opening their minds to various cultural viewpoints about the world through ALA's Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education. I created an avatar teaching assistant in a blended-animated flipped classroom environment that would incorporate the technology that the students held dear (cell phones used in their research process) and allowed them to keep a constant show of student engagement inside and outside of the classroom. An animated flipped classroom would be created to allow implementation of an avatar teaching assistant to help the teachers before, during, and after class: "talk" with students; give learning activities that would allow students to "tinker" on concepts taught that day; seek and share information through "traveling" virtually and/or physically to where more information could be found.This Three T's concept, created by Ulysses Weldon in his article, "Teach the Three T's," from Gifted Children Newsletter, December 1985, p. 15, would allow teachers to help educational institutions place more emphasis on helping students develop critical thinking, complex problem-solving, written and oral communication, applied knowledge in real-world settings, and collaboration.
