The Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TLATA) is the legislation used to determine interest in and occupation of property where matrimonial law does not apply. This work explains the practice and procedure in TLATA work for family solicitors engaged in property disputes between cohabiting or other unmarried couples.
