The struggle is won but what follows is worse than the struggle itself. When Caiaphas Cane realizes that one of his trusted comrades is missing in the inauguration ceremony a lot comes into question. Given the circumstance that the two have a long history, he immediately falls into a panic. The day ends with hanging unanswered questions. As events that lead to Alexandra's absence at the inauguration unwind it becomes clear to him what he has to do. Its post apartheid Alexandra assembles a team of four former guerrilla militants to carry out the job of eliminating the key people that know of his affiliation with the apartheid government. And as the job nears completion security threats rise, personal struggles take into account. Their troubled past interferes with their job. These men have killed all their lives, two of them are Zimbabweans former war veterans and the other two are twin brothers, former Renamo dissidents from Mozambique responsible of the overthrowing of the colonial regime. Their clumsiness draws the attention of a young female Journalist Thoko Zalo. Thoko is a Mail Guardian recruit who has just been assigned to work with Vivian Eastin an award winning British journalist working on a feature documentary investigating the use of children with Albinism in witchcraft rituals in the continent, the two women team up and chase these stories assertively. As Vivian Eastin chases the story of ritualistic killings, her financial situation dwindles forcing her to take a two week job in Rwanda with her former boss, a BBC news editor. In Rwanda she follows thousands of migrating Hutus to a refugee camp in Tanzania where she stumbles across one of her former associates Anton Molotov a former Russian General turned international criminal, who is a fugitive and once served as the conductor of an exile program for African freedom fighters and his organisation had aided the anti apartheid freedom fighters with training and exile. Anton resides in the continent to see the end of the deal he had signed with all the countries he was involved with including South Africa, a newly liberated country. He is owed what could not be owned. The president seat is indebted to Anton and Caiaphas as the new president of South Africa is obliged to pay him the agreed cost. But with his reputation at stake Caiaphas retracts on this deal and refuses to sign over the mining land to Anton. The two men face off; stirring conflicts from both ends and with stakes rising Caiaphas teams up with Alexandra and Vivian to put him down once and for all but not all goes accordingly. The documentary is expunged due to political interference. Alexander escapes a near death trap and Vivian becomes the solution to Caiaphas prayers. .
