Recenzii
Jon Tait's new book is brimming with useful ideas from start to finish. The book contains a wealth of advice and is of invaluable use to both new and experienced heads of year. As usual, Jon's knowledge, wisdom and passion for all things education shine through. A brilliant read.
If you are thinking of becoming, or are already, a head of year, then Succeeding as a Head of Year is a must-read. Jon Tait discusses his experiences and offers practical strategies that will guide you to become a successful head of year.
A great read. The writing is accessible and interesting, with a good mix of information and real-world examples. I read it in one sitting! If you're contemplating applying for a pastoral care role or just joining the profession, this book offers a realistic look at the nature of the job and how it differs from that of a classroom teacher.
he chapters blend theory and practice and Tait writes clearly and with passion for empowering staff to support all students in the school, with particular emphasis on reaching out to disadvantaged students and their families.
