I challenge you to find a sillier story than this picture book by Matty Long. [...] You only realise quite how boring most books for the very young are when you come across one that breaks the mould - or, I should say, the ice.
Praise for Matty Long's Super Happy Magic Forest series: This is a delightful picture book with a lot of action taking place on each page ... It's a joy to read.
Irreverent fantasy romp.
I'm not sure who will get more enjoyment out of this one - the 'toddlers' billed as its target audience or those older readers/adults who are the book's mediators to the very young.
Super is an explosion of ideas and colour all held together by a love of the fantasy genre.
