Recenzii
Moores work adds complexity, depth, and nuance to a history that is so often painted in black and white as a tragedy or the triumph of the underdog. ... Survivors should inform how future histories of conflict and genocide are constructed and written.
Excellent... Moore's book is not just excellent social history but confirms the maturing of Holocaust historiography, in which the complexities of the Holocaust experience are addressed head on
Moore's seminal study...is micro history at its finest.
Makes important contributions to the developing and nuanced understanding of Jewish responses to the Holocaust.
