Seven-year-old Jessica loves her stuffed animals so much that she's given each one a special name. Every night at bedtime, Jessica places them all around her so she can have good dreams. But once she's in bed, Jessica has a hard time staying there

Jessica's daddy warns her that every time she gets out of bed, he will take one of her stuffed animals and put it back on the shelf. The first one to go is Mike the monkey. He ends up underneath the bed and soon gets bored. What is a stuffed monkey to do? Have some fun, of course

Mike and the other stuffed animals-Gloria the glowworm, Buster the bulldog, and more-start playing baseball. But all their running and cheering make too much noise and wake up Jessica's brother. Will Jessica's dad find out what they're up to?
