Notă biografică
Juan S. Blyde is a Senior Economist at the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank. Juan’s areas of research have focused on trade and firm productivity, trade and transport costs, and international value chains. Juan received his PhD in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1998, and a BS in economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Venezuela) in 1992. He joined the IDB in 2000. Juan’s research has been published in various academic journals such as the Journal of International Economics, Review of International Economics, International Economic Journal, and Review of World Economics, among others.
