Notă biografică

Andrew Whipple was born in Mountain Home, Idaho, and attended Boise State University, the University of Idaho, and Washington State University. He's a retired Combat Engineer Officer with the Idaho Army National Guard, and a retired History and Government Teacher from Kootenai School District in Harrison, Idaho. Now he spends his time writing, reading military history books, raising pheasants, and managing his small tree farm in northern Idaho. In the spring he can be found announcing high school track meets in the region. He also enjoys volunteering in several Veterans service organizations.The author is a proud father of three sons who serve as Army Officers, and a grandfather to two grandsons.He's the author of From Inez to Andrew, a collection of poems he wrote in 2021, and poems his grandmother, Inez Needham Spiller, wrote in the 1940s.
