Take The Word Of God To The Streets Jails And To Prisons And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23. This world is full of Highways, City Streets, Jails, and Prisons, where the Lost are living. Truthfully I have sleep on the streets in cars, off of a highway in a barn, right beside a highway under neath a cable guard rail. I have been hungry, in need, been broke many times, seen harsh times, lost my wife and children to drinking and the use of drugs. I've been a drug attic and a drug dealer. I've been in the streets, in jails many times and in prison twice. Was saved and back slid on God, until God taught me my final lesson, to never turn your back on God. God's written word teaches us to go out into the highways and hedges and compel the lost to come in. I am not proud of where I have been and of the things that I have done. Before I gave my life back unto God, I was in a city jail, on my way to prison. To serve a sentence of five to twenty five years, I served a total of six and a half years in a State Prison. PRISON WAS A PLACE WHERE I MADE MY MIND UP THAT I DID NOT WANT ANY MORE TO DO WITH SIN. MEANING DRINKING, DRUGS, DEALING, FAST WOMEN, STEALING, ROBBING, LIEING, PULLING GUNS ON PEOPLE, GROWING WEED. THE LIST NEVER QUITS, WHEN SATAN DRAGS YOU OUT INTO THE WORLD OF SIN. You will have to decide whether this is fiction or nonfiction, my dear reader. My mother asks me once, Luke do you always go against the grain in life. What a statement for a man to hear from, my own mother, Why, BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS DOING THINGS THE WRONG WAY AND I WAS ALWAYS IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW. I know what being a rebellious child is, but I never got to this place all on my own. It started from the way that I was raised up, in the city streets of Dayton Ohio. I was beaten, locked up in dark basements, taught to fist fight my own brother, by my step father, taught to fight all of the bad little boys in our neighborhood. I grew into the shoes of a rebellious child. The bad ones on the streets, in jails and in prisons, they have their own stories to tell. Then there are the silent ones, in homes, being molested, beaten, going hungry, needing clothed, horrible things are taking place in this world that is in gulfed with the fiery flames of SIN, my dear reader. A Christian wouldn't think that God would write such a book like this, as a teaching, but oh yes he would. There is a lost and dying world out there and these things are really happening. There are rapist, murders, bank robbers and all kinds of hideous crimes, taking place in the world. You cannot trust the Layers, Judges, Governors, The President of the United States. There is extortion going on, in every hand. There is human slavery, children being stolen, women being sold for exhortation, sexually. Many ministers cannot go into the highways and compel some of these lost ones to come in, because of having nothing in common, with the hurting. Not having any personal experience, with any one that is or has been in jail, prisons, or been there, living like the gang bangers on the city streets. If you haven't been there, then truthfully there are many of lost souls that you will not be able to reach, because you haven't been there, you do not know what it is like, to live and to survive on the streets, in jails or in prisons. I unfortunately have been chosen, by my Lord Jesus, to write this book, because I am one of them. I have partaken of their way of life. I HAVE JUST WEEPED BEFORE THE Lord, as I wrote this portion of this book. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19.
