Notă biografică

Rebecca L. Toporek is a professor and department chair in the Department of Counseling at San Francisco State University. She earned her doctorate degree in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Toporek's work focuses on multicultural training, privilege and oppression, social justice advocacy, antiracism, empowerment, and career counseling. She and her students partner with the Tenderloin Workforce Development Office to provide "One Stop Résumé" counseling through Project Homeless Connect. In addition, she is involved in a local community coalition to increase community dialogue and is working on several task forces on advocacy and community engagement.
