Taking the Fear and Mystery Out of Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases

Cancer is a very intimidating word that strikes fear in everyone. Upon hearing it there is an immediate feeling of hopelessness embedded in the very word. There is sheer terror when this has become your condition. I unveiled the mystery of cancer and removed the fear by deciding to take control of my own healing process. This was a heavy responsibility, but what I learned was very empowering and emancipating. I learned how much easier it is to understand, heal and prevent cancer, and other diseases, than I ever knew. I learned about and experienced many different treatments intended to heal cancer and many other difficult diseases. I learned about microbes in relationship to disease and a wide variety of contributing factors. I discovered a new paradigm of drug free cures is entirely possible. I love the phrase, "When the student is ready, the teacher arrives." Cancer has been one of my most powerful teachers. I learned more than I even could possibly imagine during the intense six month time frame from diagnosis to cure. One of the most enlightening and humbling lessons was realizing there was a tremendous flaw in my lifelong philosophy of holistic health and the practice of prevention. My mistake reminds me of another common phrase, "the devil is in the details." In my desire to avoid developing pathology, I overlooked the study of microbiology. I literally avoided the microscopic aspects of life which left unchecked undermine our attempts to be healthy. I became aware of a similarity between the pharmaceutical paradigm of health management and my holistic health model of prevention. The fact I was overlooking the microbial root cause of all disease and ailments actually meant that for my entire life I was, also, mainly treating symptoms.
