Tales of a Reluctant Angel The Guardians are powerful evolved loving Beings but their exalted logic contains one major flaw which prevents them from interfering with the free will of another. Michael Thomas once aspired to become a Guardian but his logic contained a major flaw as well. He is unable to stand by and do nothing while good people are injured, even if this is a consequence of their own choices. It suits these powerful Guardians to now use Michael's skills to accomplish tasks that they themselves are unable to perform.
