Notă biografică

The Historical Society, Inc.--Serving Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow has been carefully collecting and preserving these memories since 1889. Though in the past viewed mainly by researchers and historians, the society's collection of photographs, postcards, and engravings, donated over the last century by the villages' residents, is presented here as a commemorative community photograph album. With Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, the Historical Society, along with MaryAnn Marshall and Sara Mascia, has created a nostalgic journey into the past of the two villages. To all of those who appreciate visual reminders of local history, this collection is sincerely dedicated.
