Anyone looking to get children excited about cooking, learning the weekly Torah portion or both has found the perfect book with which to do so. Ami Spiro, Jerusalem Post April 2016
In "A Taste of Torah" she(Aviv) has compiled a culinary wealth of beautifully illustrated recipes that are ideal for planning a Shabbat menu with. Thoroughly 'kitchen cook friendly' in organization and presentation, the recipes are arranged by courses and include appetizers, salads, side dishes, main courses, and desserts. "A Taste of Torah" will prove to be a highly prized and enduringly popular addition to personal, family, and community library Ethnic Cuisine cookbook collections. Midwest Book Review, May 2016
A Taste of Torah by Aviv Harkov is wonderful multidimensional book. It is a cookbook for Shabbat, and for family. It has culinary recipes, with tasks for younger helpers as well as adults, but what sets this book apart is that it also has recipes to deliver divrei Torah, and stories containing inspiration to share with the entire family, especially the younger participants. The words of Torah shared are authentic ideas based upon classical commentaries, and should be a welcome addition to every home. Rabbi Ari Khan, May 2016
