Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin is widely recognized as an inspiring and innovative leader in reclaiming and fashioning spiritual resources from Jewish tradition, and in making those resources relevant to our lives. She was the founding associate director of the National Center for Jewish Healing and currently serves as an educational consultant to several local and national organizations. She translated and edited Out of the Depths I Call to You: A Book of Prayers for the Married Jewish Woman, an eighteenth-century book of prayers about Mikveh (ritual bath), pregnancy and childbirth; and is the author of Tears of Sorrow, Seeds of Hope, 2nd Edition: A Jewish Spiritual Companion for Infertility and Pregnancy Loss; The Tapestry of Jewish Time: A Spiritual Guide to Holidays and Lifecycle Events; and Mourning a Miscarriage, a LifeLights(TM) pastoral care pamphlet (Jewish Lights). Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
