Tenebrism

Autor Ryan Domenick
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 11 feb 2014
I can't help you. In fact, I can hurt you. I don't want to, but deep down I really do. I brought this on you. I am not good, but neither are you. You think you're different - better - but you are just like them. And soon you might even become them, as I did. I am dark. I am evil. I am hate. I am you.
This modern-day morality tale stars a Colorado community college professor with a rough past, a failed software consultant, a mysterious government operative and a mercenary who insists on their help for a secret project known as Ruckus that will change everything. In another place and time, a primitive village battles against an army of beasts. They are led by a warrior who puts his faith in one man. Will the man become their savior or their killer? Tenebrism's gripping narrative pits pride and sin against good, reaching for the light found deep inside men's souls.
Ryan Domenick was born and raised in a small town in western Maryland in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The Pittsburgh resident works as an airline pilot, having majored in aviation in college and completed philosophy and theological studies. While growing up, Ryan faced occasionally life-threatening circumstances, facing a series of dark events that sparked his interest in the problem of evil. His faith exploration led to a new way of thinking about the world.
Tenebrism is named after a painting style that features violent contrasts of light and dark, with a source of light just outside the frame, shining on the dominant darkness. The author hopes readers will find the source of light in their own dark pictures and strive to understand it.
