Nothing is left off the table just because it's difficult, inconvenient, or unpopular. It's a challenge to the 'old-thinking' and 'we've always done it that way' syndrome, while delivering honest sustainable and acceptable solutions for all. The author, Dinesh Shah, is a management consultant in six sigma. When things are not going well-which can be any number of things, businesses call on him or people in his profession. Then it's their job to figure out why things are the way they are and how to improve them. Using six sigma and other management tools, they come up with ways to make it better, much better.
