An esteemed architect and engineer known for his discovery of the geodesic dome, Buckminster Fuller, wrote in his letter to Edson Johnson on 17th of July, 1932: "I'm convinced that nature itself decides the moment of embodiment for every idea. I'm convinced that God is not wrong. I have met Tesla. He deeply inspired me. I believe that the ceaseless interest about him will one day lead to truly recognizing him, but based on rediscovering what he had already discovered." What we, Teslians, are left with, together with all the individuals on the planet who are loyal to the spirit of creativity and the advancement of mankind through love for others and the sharing of knowledge, are the universal words of the message: "Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves," which were often quoted by Patriarch Pavle. He used to interpret them in the following way: "Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves; develop your intellectual abilities as much as you can, but at the same time foster kindness in yourselves. The mind is however cold, and kindness is warm but blind. Therefore, we need the mind and kindness to balance one another so that the mind never transforms into wickedness and kindness never becomes stupidity". Today, we would like to wish Nikola Tesla a happy 164th birthday. But, instead, Tesla will be addressing us on this occasion. He himself once said that he was working for the one hundred years that are yet to come: that is precisely the period in which we live today. We would like to thank him for having enriched us and for having brought new light and wisdom to the planet. That is the mission of this Almanac as well: for you to discover a dierent Nikola Tesla and enjoy this adventure to the fullest and with an open mind. Mirjana Prljevic
