From the loss of a couple corporate management positions to giving up a business that was 5 years in the making and had the potential of making him hundreds of thousands of dollars, Richard had to buckle down and press in to God to see what God was doing in his life and where God was taking him. Submitting to God in this way required obedience, sacrifice, patience, and a desire to be only what God wanted him to be, not what he wanted to be or what others thought he should be. The ABC's of MAN ON PURPOSE - 26 steps to become the man you are intended to be, not only gives men 26 vital steps one can take to find out what their God given purpose is; it also tells a story of how Richard was able to overcome his past life of violence, his issues, and addictions to receive his God given purpose to become a MAN ON PURPOSE.

Richard Rice is a John Maxwell certified trainer, coach, speaker, and founder of MAN ON PURPOSE a Christian based men's ministry. Richard has also hosted a successful blogtalkradio program Real Life Man Talk, which he plans on starting back up very soon. Richard has taken his several years of serving in the church through various ministries, as well as his personal experiences, and of course much wisdom from God to bring you his first self published book entitled: The ABC's of MAN ON PURPOSE - 26 steps to become the man you are intended to be. The book gives men 26 key elements to aid in finding their purpose, on purpose. Richard has learned through experiences in his own life, bible studies, and conversations with several men, that in order to be usable by God and walk in His plans and purposes for our lives, we have to be more intentional in our pursuit. Richard has a passion to see men's lives transformed from the inside out, as God has done in his life. This book takes men back to the basics, with various bible scriptures to back up anything that has been written, as well as personal testimonies from Richard. He shares with you personal issues and difficult situations he had to overcome, and hopes that his testimonies resonates with men who have or are dealing with their own share of the same. Richard has been married since August 2006 and between Carrie and he, have 7 children. Carrie came into this marriage with 4 children; Morgan, Trey, and Joshua. Richard has 2 children from his previous marriage. Christian and Darijan. From another relationship Richard has another son Stefen. They are all adults now 20 and above, except for Stefen who is 13.
