The ABCs of ERM provides a helpful overview to the wide-ranging work of the ERM librarian and would be useful for those new to the profession and seasoned professionals alike.
Each chapter is written so that all library professionals can easily comprehend the subject matter. Perhaps most important, though, is the immensely applicable and relevant way in which the information is presented. Think of this like a training guide for new librarians who will interact with electronic resources (i.e., all of them). The content is excellent, the presentation is welcoming, and the length is unintimidating. The authors have done an excellent job in creating a book that should prove invaluable to the profession, particularly in this transition period.
