Recenzii
The Annotated Book of Mormon opens up rich nuances of the texts and the impact of their reception as spirituality and literature. A significant contribution to understanding that reveals the contribution of the Book of Mormon to theology and religion.
The Annotated Book of Mormon encourages serious study of a central text in American religious, literary, and cultural history. An essential guide for all readers.
The Annotated Book of Mormon is a rich study resource that I hope will help transform the way we engage with the Book of Mormon as a people.
For those who want to dive deep and appreciate the Book of Mormon's literary complexity and doctrinal richness in new ways, I heartily recommend this book.
This annotated edition will be required reading for those in religious studies and for those wishing to avoid the missionizing nature of other editions. Those who want one copy of the Book of Mormon for scholarly readers across many fields will find that this one will serve well. Highly recommended.
The Book of Mormon, published in 1830, is a crucial text for American religious history and beyond, as it is the origin of a highly successful new religious movement whose major branch, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has become an essential player among religions on a global scale...This first-ever annotated edition is a most welcome guiding tool, inviting us to re-read the book as a religious text.
