Pingping Chen, Ph.D. in Systematic Entomology (1989), jointly by Nankai University China and The Agriculture University, Wageningen, The Netherlands; worked in NanKai University, and working in Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, China, and as an associate researcher of National Museum of Natural History, Naturalis, The Netherlands. Her publications mainly deal with the taxonomy and distribution of water bugs in China and Southeast Asia.
Nico Nieser, Ph.D. in Zoology (1975), State University Utrecht, The Netherlands; worked in the State University Utrecht, and is now a retired freelance taxonomist. His publications mainly deal with taxonomy, and faunistics of water bugs in Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia.
Herbert Zettel, Ph.D. in Systematic Entomology (1991), University of Vienna, curator for Hemiptera in the Natural History Museum Vienna since 1992. Most of his publications deal with the taxonomy and distribution of water bugs in southeast Asia.
