THE ARTIST AND THE UGLY KING is a tale of a young artist exploited by a mean and ugly king. During the Great Crusades, Edouard Lambere' is isolated from the outside world due to his Father and Mother's fierce protection of their talented young son. They know if the King learns of him, Edouard will be swept away to his kingdom, never to be seen again. His fate was inevitable, and one day when Edouard was painting in the forest, joined by his wildlife friends, it finally happened. Two of the king's guards discover his artwork tucked away in the trees and took the collection to the king. Shortly after, they returned to abduct Edouard. This fairytale takes the young artist on a journey he could never imagine. Fearless, he faces the ugly king with bravery such as the people of the land have never seen.
