Isabel Thomas is a science writer and the author of a galaxy of books for young audiences. They include Moth: An Evolution Story, illustrated by Daniel Egnéus, which won the AAAS/Subaru Prize for Excellence in Science Books. She also writes for science magazines including The Week Junior Science + Nature and creates STEM outreach resources for organisations such as the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the BBC. Isabel studied Human Sciences at the University of Oxford and Education Research at the University of Cambridge. Aaron's work is inspired by his inner child and the world around him, and he loves exploring the innocence and creativity that emerges when he takes a pencil in his hand. Full of insightful facts and curious conundrums, this is the perfect present for any inquisitive child. Queries such as "Can you touch a rainbow?", "How do planes fly?" and more are answered in witty, informative ways. I'd advise reading it yourself so you can act smug when the answers finally come!
