¿The Big Bow Mystery¿ is an 1892 mystery novel by British writer Israel Zangwill. Originally serialised in 1891 ¿The Star newspaper¿, it was first published as a novel in 1892. The story is set in the East End of London and is one of the first examples of the Locked-room mystery genre. A thrilling page-turner not to be missed by lovers of classic mystery fiction. Israel Zangwill (1864¿1926) was a British author. He was a leading figure in cultural Zionism during the 19th century, as well as close friend of Theodor Herzl. In later life, he renounced the seeking of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.
