Notă biografică

Mika Kallioinen is a lecturer in the School of History, Culture and Arts Studies at the University of Turku. He is the author of many books, including The Merchant, the Town, and the Crown. The Burgher Community of Turku and Economic Organization from the Early Middle Ages to the 1570's (2000) and Networks of knowledge. Information and the International Markets in the Business of the Dahlstrom Merchant House in the Nineteenth Century (2003), both in Finnish.
