John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Yes, an eternal inheritance awaits those who believe God has also brought heaven to earth now and is providing that inheritance today. He gives us gifts to be opened, provision to be experienced, and power to be unleashed into our everyday lives. Most Christians today do not live with a real understanding of their earthly and spiritual inheritance. Instead of Kings, they live like paupers. Instead of living victoriously, they live in defeat. Instead of living with power, they live in weakness. Ephesians is a book that reminds us how to live like a rich woman in Christ. When we tap into those spiritual resources made available every day to us, then we realize that our true wealth comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Like Paul, my prayer for you is that your eyes may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches, of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. (Ephesians 1:18-19)
