Friedemann J. Weidauer is managing editor of the Brecht Yearbook and associate professor of German at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on contemporary German culture, and he has published articles on Brecht, Christoph Hein, Wolfgang Borchert, and Jurek Becker.
