We must build a bridge of awareness between who we are as individuals and who we are in eternity. The bridge of awareness is the soul, a Microcosm, individual and universal. It is fully conscious rather than only partially conscious as we are in our given condition. To be fully human is to be conscious as an individual while simultaneously realizing our eternal nature. We bridge the individual and the universal with conscious awareness. If we do not build this bridge in time, we lose for eternity.
