Notă biografică
John D. Bell (1942-98) received his PhD in history from Princeton University in 1970 and was associate professor of history at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is the author of Peasants in Power: Alexander Stamboliski and the Bulgarian Agrarian National Union, 1899-1923 (Princeton University Press, 1977).
