The keynote address, presentations, and reflections from The Carnegie Conversation on Catholic Education held in September 2007 at The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching are presented in this monograph. The University of Notre Dame partnered with key leaders in Catholic higher education and philanthropy to offer insight into building a field of research in Catholic education and to further strengthen and sustain Catholic schools in the United States.
