The citizens of Archerman's Bow, Illinois fall victim to a malicious government plan. The project is still in its infancy when things begin to go horribly wrong. In the greedy hunt for ultimate power, the government project has inadvertently awakened something more horrific than they could ever imagine. They misjudge their limitations and the extraordinary resilience of the human spirit. The prayers for power are about to be answered, but at what cost? The Earth herself, wakes from her slumber and gives life to a monstrous, living being with an insatiable appetite.
