When Leonardo DiCaprio's car breaks down on a backwater country road in the middle of nowhere, he is rescued by a cursing and cantankerous, yet instantly likeable, young chicken farmer named Cindy. What with an uneducated, overweight, overbearing and lazy mother who craves for a better life, but is unwilling to lift even a single finger to attain it, Cindy wasn't dealt life's best hand, but she is trying to break the mould that was seemingly cast for her.
