Elena Gray's graduate studies at the Sleep Research Academy had only just begun. At first excited to use the Academy's new Dreamscape Program, upon logging in, Elena immediately has a nightmare. Things get weirder when the nightmares persist - even when she isn't logged into the program. In an attempt to break the cycle of night terrors, Elena devises a plan to hack into the program and solve the mystery of her dreamscape. Fortunately, her lab partner, Vincent Miller, knows a thing or two about technology. Though he's willing to help her, he has an unusual condition. As Elena and Vincent unravel the secret of Elena's dreamscape, they discover her dreams are connected to the obscure history of the Academy. But soon Elena finds that in order to learn the truth, she must face her worst nightmares.
