The Chinese People's Liberation Army pamphlet was published in 1950 by the Foreign Languages Press, Peking. Based on the information within the original 62-page pamphlet, it appears it was published between the June 1950 invasion by North Korea into South Korea and the entry of the PLA into that conflict in October. This reprint edition includes footnotes with analysis and an index that were not in the original version.
