The Circus Is Coming To Town
Autor Francesca Hepton Editat de Claire Wingfielden Limba Engleză Paperback – 11 aug 2020
With strange noises coming from the elephant shed and the Farmies hot on their tails, it's time once again for our heroine to come up with a plan.
Accompanied by her intrepid friends, she discovers there is more to circus life than meets the eye. When readers draw back the curtain to this colourful tale filled with frolics, funny episodes and selfless acts of bravery, it reveals a second story about rescuing the "elephant mice". This is aimed at helping children understand the plight of animals in the circus. It gently weaves in an awareness that not everything for our amusement at a circus comes by choice. Kiki and Friends gives a voice to those who can't speak... or in this case squeak
Join our loveable friends for some fast-paced heroics, funny fumblings and even an impromptu sing-along as they venture to the bright lights of the circus

Notă biografică
Francesca Hepton was born on the tropical island of Hawaii in 1973 and has traveled the world. She has an MA in Modern Literature from the University of St Andrews and runs her own publishing business. In her spare time she has created the world of Kiki the Kung Fu Kitten for both younger and older children. The series includes 4 other titles for 7 to 11-year-olds. She took up the study of Martial Arts late in life. She has found that learning techniques such as Wing Chun in fact takes away the desire for any violence and brings self-confidence and balance. These are wonderful qualities to share with our younger generation. Each story in the Kiki series has a moral message about self-belief, courage, determination, loyalty, truthfulness, anti-bullying, how being small or different doesn't matter. If you believe you can achieve, you achieve.
