With the support of Scripture as well as other ancient extra biblical texts, the problem of how Jesus can be called the Good Shepherd while so many souls continuously fall short of heaven's eternal reward is addressed. The Clay Perfection Theory solves the apparent contradiction concerning man's free will versus God's sovereign knowledge of our eternal destination. Ultimately, a solution is proposed concerning the identity of two groups of people that the Bible refers to as sheep and goats, or clay and iron, or the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent.
