Notă biografică

Magdalena Bialic-Davendra received an MA in Economics from the University of Rzeszow, Poland, and a PhD in Finance from Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre of Applied Economic Research, FaME, at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. She is the author and co-author of more than 25 scientific articles, two certified methodologies, a monograph and three book chapters. She has been a leader of four, and participant in seven, research projects. Her research interests cover: business clusters, finance, and operations research. Drahomira Pavelkova is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. She is the author and co-author of six monographs, six book chapters, and 31 articles in journals, and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. She has managed 10 research projects, and has spent time abroad in Japan, USA, United Kingdom, France, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal and Belgium on various research visits. Her areas of professional work and interest cover strategic management, clusters, corporate finance, performance management/measurement, corporate valuation, and benchmarking. Eva Vejmelkova is a graduate of the Master's and Doctoral programs at the Faculty of Management and Economics, Tomas Bata University in Zlin, and has been a Research Staff Member at the Centre of Applied Economic Research at FaME TBU in Zlin since 2008. She is the author and co-author of more than 30 scientific articles, one monograph and three book chapters. Her research interests cover the development of business clusters, performance management/measurement, management accounting, and benchmarking.
