"The Collected Ramblings of a Drunken Buffoon" was a mesmerising debut from a talented writer, but this revised edition features changes to formatting, the rewriting of several passages and more content. On top of the original collection of parabes and screenplays, there have been two new additions to the book, the first-"Plane Sailing"-tells the story of two gentlement, and their misadventures aboard a busy passenger plane (this was originally conceived for a three minute movie competition).The second addition, however, is by far the most important, originally feared lost, the documentary styled screenplay-"Fingers Galore"-tells the story of a fictitious Scottish jazz band, their violent fall from grace, and their talented frontman's subsequent attempt to return to the top. This edition is a must buy for both fans and newcomers alike, and perhaps even more than this, it is truly essential reading for anyone who has dared to dream of something better.
